MATERIALS
1147 (1248, 1366, 1469, 1587, 1671) metres / 1255 (1365, 1494, 1606, 1736, 1827) yards of DK weight wool yarn
Recommended yarn is Cambrian Mountains Wool Double Knitting (100% wool; 100 metres / 109 yards per 50g), sample shown in colorway 'Cegin'.

GAUGE
21 stitches x 32 rows = 4" square in stockinette stitch knit flat on gauge needle, blocked

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
For Main Fabric:
One 32” circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge
Recommended size: US 4 / 3.5 mm

For Neckline:
One 20” circular needle, one size smaller than size needed to obtain gauge
Recommended size: US 3 / 3.25 mm

DIFFICULTY
Intermediate: Skills required include knitting lace, reading charts, simultaneous shaping, seaming, and picking up stitches.

PATTERN STYLE 
Instructions for lace stitch patterns are provided in charted form only. This garment is knit flat, in pieces, and seamed; the neckline trim is picked up and worked in the round.
